BEDSIDE NGAL IN PCI - Early detection of renal damage by bedside NGAL assessment in patients undergoing PCI
Project Objectives
By bedside technique, the project will test the sensitivity and specificity of the neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) assay for the diagnosis of contrast-induced nephropathy in patients undergoing coronary stenting. To study the prognostic significance of this molecule (also in the long-term) by correlating its pre- and post-procedural values with cardiovascular outcomes
