CIPR Net

CIPRNet -The Critical Infrastructure Preparedness and Resilience Research Network

Project Objectives

CIPRNet (The Critical Infrastructure Preparedness and Resilience Research Network) aims to establish a network of excellence in the field of critical infrastructure protection (CIP) by involving the broad spectrum of parties that are involved.
The main objective of the project lies in the creation of a virtual center for shared expertise in the protection of critical infrastructure and the integration of each partners’ resources on modeling, simulation and analysis of critical infrastructure.
Integration will involve research and development activities in more than 50 projects that are co-financed by the European Community. The aforementioned center of competence will provide the basis for the foundation of a Center for Simulation and Analysis of Infrastructure Europe (EISAC) by 2020.
