Fit for Medical Robotics
Project objectivesThe project aims to address the gaps that have prevented the nationwide clinical adoption of first-in-class, patient-specific, robotic and digital therapies/treatments. Specifically, it aims to:
Prepare the next generation of healthcare and personal care robots (and robotics in general) by promoting the study of new hypotheses/ideas and technologies, including (bio)nanoengineered smart materials and sustainable energy sources that attempt to overcome the main limitations encountered by current robots used as physical assistants. |
