GEPIKID

Genetic EPIdemiology of KIDney cancer

Project Objectives

The main objective of this Research Plan is to understand kidney cancer architecture and study why certain tumors tend to recur often. The Parties will also explore field cancerization effects in tissue samples. Germline material from histologically normal tissue may be used to conduct genome-wide association studies (GWAS) and functional characterization of GWAS findings.
