The spiritual dimension in nursing: skills and attitudes of students and nurses, attitudes and needs of patients and family/caregivers

Project objectives

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the scientific knowledge base on spiritual care by nurses. Specific objectives include: describing attitudes and skills in the spiritual care of nursing students and nurses working in various clinical settings and in various regions of Italy and their relationships with socio-demographic, educational and organizational variables; describe the psycho-social and spiritual well-being of patients in palliative care (with particular attention to dependency on nursing care) and their family members.
