Project objectives

Mapping the Kwifruit Vine Decline Syndrome (KVDS) phenomenon on Zespri’s proprietary crop ZESY002, commonly known as G3, using satellite imagery and artificial intelligence techniques.

Measuring the impact of KVDS on yellow kiwifruit plants is useful for assessing the expected decrease in production for the year, the quality of the fruit that will be harvested, and the historical production and productivity prospects.
