Innovative platform for the harmonization of the daily life of weak subjects in the relationship with the advanced age and the interaction with their living space

| PISTIS represents a project whose basic idea is not only innovative, but also ambitious and poses many challenges. PISTIS aims to create an innovative platform for the assistance of frail subjects within their own living spaces or in structures designated for specific care paths. PISTIS, in fact, aims to improve the quality of life of frail subjects (elderly, patients with chronic diseases, etc.) through the implementation of an innovative technological platform that, through the synergic use of sensors, telemedicine, voice assistant, IoT home automation and computer vision is able to harmonize the home environment making it a virtual caregiver. PISTIS, in its entirety, represents a technology aggregator that interposes itself between innovative technological devices with increasingly high and updated performance and the assisted subject. PISTIS will be equipped with an artificial intelligence that, appropriately trained, will be able to interact with the main actor through exclusively natural communication (hearing/voice, interpretation of facial expressions, etc.). The aggregator will be equipped with artificial "eyes" and "ears" and will extend its sensory spaces through interconnection with sensor devices that will be intended for interaction with domestic environments. The result of PISTIS will allow for an analysis of scenes for the notification of recurring behaviors of the weak subject based on specific events. The solutions developed will comply with current laws regarding the protection of privacy, the integrity of personal data and the security of data and communications (EU Reg. 2016/679). |
