Il Research Enhancement and Support Service, of the Research and Innovation Directorate, contributes to the development of the University's strategic research and innovation guidelines in terms of knowledge valorization and the effectiveness of procedures related to external and internal stakeholders.

The Service includes the following offices:

  • Knowledge Transfer Office, whose activities concern the protection and valorization of research results and the promotion of innovation, by supporting researchers i) in the filing and territorial extension of patents, ii) in the establishment, incubation and acceleration of spin-offs, iii) in interactions with institutions and companies for commissioned research activities, iv) in the interception of emerging research results to proactively follow them and develop their scientific, social and economic impact.
  • Commissions and Services Support Secretariat, whose activities concern: i) the management of the authorization flows of administrative practices under the responsibility of the Research and Innovation Directorate, through synergistic interfacing with the other offices and the Governing Bodies of the University, ii) the Secretariat activities of the University Research Directorate, iii) the Technical Secretariat activities of the University Ethics Committee.
