Prof. Khazrai Yeganeh Manon, Faculty of Sciences and Bio-Technologies

The program is the result of a collaboration between the University of Antsiranana and theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and is being developed in the Ambanja district (Madagascar) in collaboration with local authorities and with the direct involvement of local schools.
The initiative combines university education, fieldwork, and attention to the real needs of the population, with the goal of making academic cooperation a concrete tool for social impact. The project involves faculty and students from the Food Sciences degree program and is based on the idea that direct experience in a context of high nutritional vulnerability offers significant educational and scientific value.
The University of Antsiranana contributes with direct knowledge of the territory, the eating habits and the nutritional problems of the local population, while theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma It provides scientific and methodological expertise in nutrition and food education. This synergy allows for the integration of training, research, and concrete interventions into a single program.
Marina Mocciaro and Olga Scuccimarra – Student Service/Admissions Office

From November 18 to 23, 2025, we had the opportunity to visit the University of Navarra in Pamplona, as part of the Erasmus+ mobility program. We met and exchanged best practices with colleagues and managers who manage the student administration office, the right to education, campus life, and admissions. It was invaluable and inspiring to find, in this academic context, the same values and principles that inspire UCBMThe experience further confirmed the importance of our mission and the need to create academic communities that promote the integral growth of individuals capable of making a significant and positive impact on society through their professional work, research, and teaching.
Roberto Di Nucci – Orientation Office

My first Erasmus took me to the green and welcoming Ireland, discovering a surprising city: Cork, vibrant with color, music and university life.
Here I had the opportunity to get to know theUniversity College Cork, one of the oldest universities in Europe, attracting thousands of students from around the world every year. Through campus tours and dedicated meetings, I was able to understand the care with which the university enhances the student experience: from the modern student residences (where I decided to stay), to the rich alumni community, to the inclusion projects and the program buddies to accompany the new arrivals.
In the morning I attended a course of Professional and Business English, a precious opportunity to discuss social and professional issues with colleagues from all over the world.
In our free time, we organised trips to explore the beauties of Cork and its surroundings: from the colourful streets of Kinsale up to the suggestive port of Cobh, places that tell the authentic soul of Ireland.
An intense and formative experience, which made me understand even more how travel, continuous training, and intercultural exchange are fundamental levers for growth not only as professionals, but above all as people.
Giulia Romagnoli - Executive Program Office UCBM Academy

I had the opportunity to participate for the first time in a week-long Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training program at Istanbul Aydın University. It was an intense and enriching experience, allowing me to interact with colleagues from a diverse and extremely well-organized background, paving the way for new and interesting collaboration prospects.
A heartfelt thanks goes to Mariana and her team at the Erasmus Office, always attentive and available, to the Director of Short Programs, Mr. Donat, and to the professors I had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with in an open, dynamic, and surprisingly cutting-edge academic environment. Their hospitality and helpfulness made me feel immediately at home, fostering a climate of genuine collaboration and friendship.
I know Istanbul well and am always fascinated by its energy and extraordinary cultural richness: aspects that have made this experience even more intense and meaningful.
This mobility represented a precious opportunity for personal and professional growth, as well as an important opportunity to strengthen international ties. UCBM Academy
Claudia Zanetti - International Relations Office

I had the opportunity to participate in the second edition of the Staff Week “Globally Connected” organized by the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany.
The main topics discussed during this International Week were social inclusion and equal opportunities within the Erasmus world, very interesting topics for those like me who work in an International Relations Office.
In addition to organizing stimulating sessions where participants could discuss the topics of interest at a European level, our German colleagues made us feel at home with typical dinners and trips to discover the Black Forest.
I have always wanted to visit this geographical area and thanks to the Erasmus Staff Call I was able to combine a precious training opportunity with the discovery of an interesting territory.
I always recommend our students to take advantage of the beauty that the Erasmus + program has to offer and… I can't help but do the same with my colleagues. UCBM!"
Prof. Caricato and Prof. Carrannante - Faculty of Medicine and Surgery

Prof. Caricato and Dr. Carannante attended ROBO-CERT, a certified international training in robotic surgery, directed by Prof. Jim Khan at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, University of Portsmouth, NHS, UK.
We improved our theoretical and technical skills in robotic surgery, learning tips and tricks to master robotic surgery systems, starting from the "classics" Da Vinci Xi and X, but invaluable to get the best out of the brand new Hugo, available for our daily practice. On this occasion, we consolidated our relationships with the most important robotic colorectal surgery teams on the continent, from Switzerland to Romania, from France to Spain, from Turkey to Germany to Denmark. Great appreciation for the innovative experiences at the Campus on colon surgery in fragile patients, of which Dr. Carannante presented the first results.
Emanuela Mautarelli - Human Resources Development Office

"This was the 13th edition of the Erasmus Staff Week at the University of Cyprus, Nicosia.
It was my first time and it was an experience beyond my expectations.
We talked about "Diversity and Inclusion" and the organization and management of Blended Intensive Programmes, stimulating a fruitful debate in an intercultural group.
The classroom sessions were interspersed with organized excursions, to discover ancient villages and traditions, characteristic hamlets, breathtaking views, steeped in a rich but painful history.
I recommend all my colleagues to try this experience at least once; it is a great opportunity that UCBM offers us".
