SCHOLARSHIPS BY INCOME

The Biomedical University Foundation, on the occasion of the Joaquín Navarro Valls International Award for Leadership and Benevolence, III edition, has established a Scholarship Fund for theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma (UCBM) named after Joaquín Navarro-Valls, physician and President of the Advisory Board UCBMThis fund aims to help develop deserving and less well-off talent.

In this context, INTESA SAN PAOLO is funding one (1) scholarship to support the personal and professional development of a student enrolled in the 2026/2027 academic year in the Degree Course in Food Sciences.

The student awarded the aforementioned scholarship will receive an annual contribution of €5.500 (fifty thousand five hundred/0) for the entire legal duration of studies, which is three years, for a total value of €16.500 (sixteen thousand five hundred/00). The aforementioned annual contribution will be awarded as a waiver/reimbursement of the corresponding amount, to be applied to the single university contribution amounts established in the Tuition Fees and Contributions Regulations published on the website. https://www.unicampus.it/ammissioni-corsi-di-laurea/tasse-e-contributi/.

The Joaquín Navarro-Valls scholarship cannot be combined with similar benefits from other public or private institutions, without prejudice to the option of interested students.

The requirements for maintaining this benefit in the years following the first are indicated in the following point 4 of theselection notice.

PATH OF EXCELLENCE WITH SCHOLARSHIPS

Within the first window (and in case of failure to assign also with selection in the subsequent windows if applicable), it is foreseen, according to the terms and conditions set out in theAnnex A, the selection of n. 4 (four) students for access to the Excellence Path of the Degree Course in Food Sciences and Human Nutrition, with the assignment to each of the selected candidates of a scholarship equal to 50% of the single university contribution for the entire three-year period of study, in the presence of the assignment and maintenance requirements set out in Annex A.

The Path of Excellence aims to enhance students according to merit criteria. Students admitted to the Path of Excellence will benefit from the support of a referent teacher and will dedicate themselves to additional and complementary training activities to those of the course of study. The set of training activities envisaged by the Path of Excellence, which may also be carried out in part abroad through the Erasmus Program, requires a minimum annual commitment for the student, in the first and second year of the course, of 4 CFU and does not give rise to the recognition of CFU that can be used to obtain university degrees issued by theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, but upon the release of a certificate of completion of the Course which will be recorded in the student's career in terms of extracurricular CFU which flow into the Diploma Supplement.

Selected students will benefit from:

Ø 50% exemption from the payment of the single university fee for the three-year period;

Ø upon request, a 30-hour English language improvement course;

Ø activities also organized in collaboration with academic institutions or other international organizations.

The requirements and methods for assigning and maintaining such benefits in the academic years following the first are defined in Annex A, which is an integral part of this Procedure.
