Purpose

The specialization course in breast reconstructive surgery with heterologous techniques is promoted by the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Area of ​​the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital. It is aimed at surgeons and/or specialists interested in improving their theoretical and surgical knowledge in the field of breast reconstructive surgery.

Recipients and output profile

The course is aimed at graduates in Medicine and Surgery and/or specialists for a maximum of 10 participants. It will not be activated for a number less than 8.

Didactic structure

The course includes integrated forms of theoretical activities, individual learning and practical activities with adequate tutorial support.

Internship

It will take place from 17 April to 30 July 2016 at the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital for a total of 155 hours, corresponding to 5 credits. At the end of the course, the elaboration of a final project work is foreseen, which will be discussed during the final exam.

Attendance fee

The enrollment fee for the entire Specialization Course is €1.000. Specify the reason for payment. In no event will the fee be refunded. Enrollment in the specialization course is incompatible with simultaneous enrollment in another course of study (degree courses, specialist degrees, university diplomas, direct schools for special purposes, specialization schools, research doctorates and masters).

Final certificate

Specialization in heterologous breast surgery with the recognition of 10 credits. The recognition of the training credit is linked to the regular attendance of the training activities (compulsory for a total number of hours of not less than 80% of the lessons and 100% of the training activities) and to the passing of the final exam.
