The master
It is an advanced training course for managers and experts in Life Sciences, designed to encourage the development and strengthening of specialist, managerial and entrepreneurial skills to enable processes of collaborative innovation, technology transfer, investments, legal protection of intellectual property, creation and financing of innovative companies with high technological content in the Pharma, Biotech, Medtech fields.
Why enroll in a Masters in Life Science Venturing Innovation?
To be able to coordinate and manage innovation processes that generate both economic and social impact, training skills suitable for facing entrepreneurial challenges within Industrial Companies, Law Firms, Consulting Firms, Venture Capital, Universities and Research Centers in the Pharma, Biotech and Medtech sectors.
During the training course, specialist knowledge and skills will be developed and consolidated also on the issues of legal protection of intellectual property and the raising of capital necessary for the establishment and growth of innovative companies in the Life Sciences field.
Recipients and Access Title
The Master is aimed at both managers and professionals working in the Life Science sector in Industrial Companies, Law Firms, Consulting Firms, Venture Capital, Universities and Research Centers in the Pharma, Biotech and Medtech sectors, as well as young graduates who wish to train, specializing in the innovation and enhancement of research in the Life Sciences field.
Those who are in possession of a Bachelor's degree of the old system, or a Specialist or a Master's degree can participate in the Master.
Those who do not possess the required qualification will be able to attend the Master as auditors.
Enrollment in the Master is compatible with enrollment in another university course in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 33 of 12/04/2022 and by DM 930 of 29/07/2022.
Teaching method, duration and organization
Classroom teaching is based on a predominantly interactive methodology, with the aim of promoting the professional and personal development of the participant. All the tools supporting the classroom lessons will allow students to deal with concrete problems in the working context in order to stimulate their resolution through a personalization of the acquired knowledge and skills.
The Master has a duration of 12 months.
Lessons will normally take place on the following days and times:
- Friday: from 9.00 to 18.00
- Saturday: from the 9.00 18.00
The lessons will take place in phygitalmode, which combines the online world with the offline world trying to take the best aspects of each to create a more complete and satisfying customer experience.
Phygital takes the form of the realization of the three I's:
Immediacy: ensuring that things happen at a precise moment;
Immersion: make the user part of the experience;
Interaction: generate an exchange, necessary to activate the most physical and emotional part of the learning process;
Thanks to the multi-channel nature of this approach, it will be up to the participant to decide when to follow in the classroom and when to participate remotely.
Attendance at the Master is compulsory for at least 70% of the lessons.
Structure of the Master
The Master confers 60 credits, equal to 1.500 hours of training activities, divided as follows:
- 38 credits of classroom teaching which includes lectures and individual study;
- 7 credits of Venture Building Lab;
- 15 credits of internship/processing of the final Project Work;
The Master is divided into 3 macro areas:
- The Big Picture
- Innovation Design and Management
- Venture Building Lab.
Method of admission
Admission to the Master must be submitted by 23.59 pm on September 22, 2023 using the online procedure and provides for the inclusion of:
- personal data;
- self-declaration in lieu of a certification;
- CV
- payment of the admission fee of € 60,00.
The selections will take place on the day September 28, 2023, with official communication to candidates by e-mail. The selection will be based on evaluation of the curriculum vitae and motivational technical interview.
Attendance fee
The enrollment fee for the Master is €10.000,00 to be paid in 3 instalments:
- First installment of € 4.000 by 12/10/2023
- Second installment of € 3.000 by 29/02/2024
- Third installment of € 3.000 by 30/06/2024
For those who decide to pay the fee in a single solution on the date of enrolment, a reduced fee of € 9.000,00 is envisaged, to be paid by 12/10/2023.

Scholarships and subsidies
L'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma provides:
- up to a maximum of 2 scholarships to fully cover the registration fee for an amount of €10.000 (Master's fee to be paid by the participant €0,00), reserved for new specialist or master's graduates (within two years of graduation who are unemployed or unemployed) by theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma;
- up to a maximum of 4 scholarships to partially cover the tuition fee for an amount of € 5.0000, reserved for natural persons with the exclusion of those who carry out a regular professional activity (VAT number holders) by the University Rome Bio-Medical Campus;
- up to a maximum of 3 scholarships to fully cover the admission fee for civil servants enrolled in the unitary management of credit and social services by INPS; the ranking of the winners of these scholarships, if any, will be communicated in the ways and within the times specified by the relative notices published by the granting bodies.
Degree awarded
At the end of the course, the title of II level University Master in "Life Science Venturing Innovation" will be issued with the assignment of 60 university training credits (CFU).
The CAPM® certification is being requested for participation in the 9th module of the Master.
