WHAT: Reference contents and objectives of the master
The Specialization Course aims to create competence in new organizational models and management tools based on appropriateness in the various care settings with the awareness of the correct taking charge of the complex patient.
WHO: Recipients and output profile
The course is aimed at department heads, with a complex structure, a simple structure with a departmental value, and health directors.
HOW: Didactic structure
The course is structured in 4 modules, each entrusted to the interlocutors involved. Each module will be divided into 4 days a month, in compliance with the following calendar:
- Clinical Governance and Leadership: University Carlo Cattaneo - LIUC, 24-25-26-27 September 2014
- Clinical Competence: SDA Bocconi - School of Management, 22-23-24-25 October 2014
- Appropriateness: Ministry of Health/Agenas, 19-20-21-22 November 2014
- Clinical Complexity: Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, 10-11-12-13 December 2014
Duration
The Course lasts 4 months and the starting date is 24 September 2014. Its modular and part-time formula makes it compatible and contextual with professional commitments and responsibilities.
Frequency
Each meeting will take place on the following days and times:
- Wednesday: 14.00 - 18.00
- Thursday: 09.00 - 18.00
- Friday: 09.00 - 18.00
- Saturday: 09.00 - 13.00

REGISTRATION
Method of admission
The application for admission to the specialization course must be presented no later than 10 September 2014 using the online procedure, available at the following internet address: www.unicampus.it and provides for the inclusion of:
- personal data
- resume
- payment of the admission fee of €50,00
The course is limited to a maximum of 45 participants. The selection will take place through curricular evaluation. The curriculum vitae and studiorum must be presented, indicating, in addition to personal data, training experiences with certified evaluation, professional experiences, scientific, dissemination and teaching activities.
Scholarships covering
There are no scholarships.
Registration and payment
Upon receipt of confirmation of admission, enrollment in the course must be completed by 22 September 2014.
Failure to enroll within this deadline will be considered as withdrawal. Enrollment is deemed completed by sending the enrollment form provided by the coordinator to the Post-Graduate Training Service, together with a copy of the bank transfer certifying payment of the st installment.
All payments, including the one relating to the admission application, must be made to the bank current account in the name of:

Attendance fee
The enrollment fee for the entire course is €2.600 to be divided into 2 installments*:
- €1.300 upon enrollment (September 22, 2014)
- €1.300 by 22 November 2014
*Specify the reason for each payment
In no case will the fees be refunded.
Enrollment in the specialization course is incompatible with simultaneous enrollment in another course of study (degree courses, specialist degrees, university diplomas, direct schools for special purposes, specialization schools, research doctorates and masters).

Final certificate
At the end of the course, students who have attended at least 80% of the lessons and discussed the final project work will be awarded the joint specialization course The management of the complex patient: appropriateness and competence.
