Innovative ideas to face the global emergency 

7 April 2021 - Has entered the stage of development of entrepreneurial projects Call Covid-19 Challenge promoted by Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and Marzotto Venture Accelerator, with the signing of 10 pre-acceleration contracts in recent months and the launch of support activities for selected start-ups. The provision of specialized services falling into three general categories is envisaged: technological validation services, office space services and expert review services. 

"In the selection of projects, ample space was given to digital platforms, both with a view to supporting healthcare and business continuity activities", explains the CEO of Marzotto Venture Accelerator, Roberto Guide: Phygiwork for remote work management; aWhere for the management of epidemic emergencies in the workplace e Adaptive Security Appliances for the prevention, detection and response to cyber attacks; Askdata and ButterLife for telemedicine; HeadApp/Eye4Care to put a health management unit in real time communication with the staff in contact with patients; More simple to track patient movements. 

The selected projects also include the development of devices for monitoring symptoms and administering therapy for patients with Parkinson's (Brain Innovations); the creation of a shirt equipped with sensors that measure parameters to facilitate home monitoring (HERemos - Health Remote Monitoring System) and the extraction of exosomes from fruits and vegetables for the production of supplements, cosmetics and medical devices (Exo Lab Italy).
