Rome, 23 July 2021 - Digital, sustainability, new technologies and "green" professions: topics that every student must know in order to be prepared for the choice of university. Doing it together with the decisive support of their school is the goal they have set themselves National Association of Rome and Lazio Principals e Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma with the signing of a two-year memorandum of understanding for training, orientation and development of synergies for bring the world of school closer to that of the university and provide students with skills that are essential today to access university studies with the right awareness.

At the University headquarters in via àlvaro del Portillo in Rome the Rector Raffaele Calabrò and the Director General of the University Andrea Rossi have signed the collaboration between the schools of Rome and Lazio and Ucbm together with Mario Rusconi, president of ANP-Rome and vice president of ANP-Lazio.

Thus the partnership between the Roman university, which has always been devoted to interdisciplinarity, internationalization and relations with businesses, and the association of Italian principals is strengthened and a relationship that has already been active for years is developed thanks to the organization of new opportunities meetings, orientation courses and training activities for students, together with refresher courses for school administrators, teachers and school staff.

“The collaboration between ANP-Lazio/Rome and UCBM, which has already been active for several years, involves the various educational and training aspects of our future generations, offering them opportunities for growth both from a personal and professional point of view - Said Mario Rusconi, president of ANP-Rome and vice president of ANP-Lazio - The educational path of our students begins with elementary school, sees its first stage with the high school diploma and concludes with the degree. “The agreement between UCBM and ANP Lazio and ANP Rome formalized today on paper represents an already concrete and active collaboration for a couple of years – he said Andrea Rossi, Director General of Ucbm - Today we're relaunching this collaboration with the intention of letting in UCBM in schools in order to train young people on issues of great social importance such as: the good use of technologies, artificial intelligence, proper nutrition, respect for the environment and the importance of medical prevention, etc. The dialogue with the teachers of the School will also be precious. Furthermore UCBM wants to perform a valuable orientation function for young people who want to build their future, we will do this by representing an important link between school and the world of work.
