Rome, 16 June 2021 - The care of the elderly person in the area in all health conditions is at the heart of the joint action of Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma e Carpoint who handed over the keys of a car intended for the operators of the palliative care center "Together in care".
On the occasion of the 101th anniversary of the birth of Alberto Sordi, the alliance between Carpoint and the Roman Athenaeum has been renewed in the scenario of Deaf Villa in the evening in which the figure of the great actor and director was celebrated, who was the first to understand the value of assistance to the elderly in the area by donating the land of Trigoria which houses the Foundation and the Association named after him and the Center for the Health of the ElderlyUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.
They were present when the keys were handed over Marta Risari, member of the Executive Committee of the University and of the Management of the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital and the Head of the Center for Palliative Care "Together in Care" Maria Grazia De Marinis. The car will allow doctors and nurses of "Together in Care" to reach patients assisted at home more easily.
To date, the "Together in treatment" center assists patients from the eastern and southern areas of the capital, and thanks to the progressive growth of its fleet, it will extend its action throughout Lazio.
