University, it's time to choose! Last two appointments with teachers and former students to decide their own future among the most sought-after training courses in the world of work in the faculties of Engineering and Science and Technology for Man and the Environment. Focus on enhancing merit with scholarships for full tuition fees and, for the most deserving, housing contributions

Rome, 29 March 2021 – Online, thematic, interactive: the Open Days ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma continue Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 March starting at 16pm with the professions most in demand on the job market: this time it's the turn of the 7 degree courses of the Faculties of Engineering and Science and Technology for Man and the Environment on the Zoom platform.

The two meetings will present the courses of:

  • March 30 - Engineering Industrial, Engineering Biomedicine, Engineering Chemical for Sustainable Development and Engineering of Intelligent Systems;
  • March 31 - Science of Food and Human Nutrition(three-year), Food and Human Nutrition Sciences (master's) e Food Science and Technology and Supply Chain Management.

An afternoon dedicated to the students of the last years of high schools from all over Italy in which the boys will be able to enter the university world and discover the educational offer of the Roman University.

Children and family members will be able to interact live with teachers and students in progress or already graduates, have information on how to prepare for the admission tests, assist in practical and laboratory experiences and find out about the employment prospects that make graduates in these disciplines a valuable resource on the job market. Among the topics addressed during the day the program of scholarships wanted by the University to support merit, i housing grants, apprenticeships, professional outlets.

All enriched by videos testimonials from students and former students who will talk about their study experience and who have launched successful careers in Italy and abroad.

COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

After the general presentation of the courses and a lecture on the topic of industry, the participants will be offered the possibility of a “lab experience” with laboratory simulations on the chemical-physical foundations of Engineering for sustainable development, processing systems and bioinformatics, advanced robotics.

FACULTY OF SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR MAN AND THE ENVIRONMENT

In this session, in addition to the presentation of the courses, there will be numerous laboratory experiences entitled "Evaluation of the antioxidant power of a fresh-cut product", "Enter the simulation classroom with us" and "A food chemistry lesson" together with the testimonies of former students involved in the management of food chains or as nutritionists.
