Rome, October 27 2025 – The Board of Directors of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, which met today, appointed the academic team that will support the new Rector Prof. Rocco Papalia, from 1 November 2025, in implementing the strategic lines of its mandate.
The Board of Directors also wanted to give sincere recognition to Prof. Eugenio Guglielmelli, who in recent years has led the University with dedication, and to the members of the Academic Council, Faculty Boards and Rector's Delegates, who have contributed significantly to the development of teaching, research and the third mission, laying solid foundations for the future of the University.
The new academic team will be composed of Emiliano Schena, Pro-Rector for Teaching, Sara Ramella, Vice-Rector Third Mission, Simonetta Filippi, Vice-Rector for Internationalization, Leandro Pecchia, Vice-Rector for Research, Bruno Vincenzi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Alessio Gizzi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Chiara Fanali, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology for Sustainable Development and One Health.
The Board of the Faculty of MMedicine and Surgery includes the Principal Bruno Vincenzi, Vice Dean Antonio Picardi, Research Coordinator and Third Mission Umberto Vespasiani Gentilucci, and the Presidents of the Degree Courses in Medicine and Surgery, Medicine and Surgery, Medicine and Surgery “MedTech”, Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, Nursing and Obstetric Sciences, Nursing, Medical Radiology Techniques for Imaging and Radiotherapy and Physiotherapy.
The Board of the Faculty of Engineering includes the Principal Alessio Gizzi, Vice Dean Marco Papi, Research Coordinator and Third Mission Domenico Formica and the Presidents of the Degree Courses in Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Intelligent Systems Engineering.
The Board of the Faculty of Science and Technology for Sustainable Development and One Health is led by the Principal Chiara Fanali, from Vice Dean Emanuele Marconi, From Research and Third Mission Coordinator Laura Dugo and by the Presidents of the Degree Courses in Food Science and Human Nutrition, Food Design, and Chemical Engineering for Sustainable Development.
