What are the CLA office hours?

How can I request exemption from the English curriculum exam?
If you have a language certification issued by one of the recognized Certification Bodies (Cambridge Assessment English; LanguageSkill; City and Guilds, Pitman; Edexcel / Pearson Ltd; IELTS; TCL Trinity College London; TOEFL ETS) and of a level equal to or higher than that reported in the Teaching Sheet of your course (available on ESSE3), you can request exemption by writing to the address [email protected] attaching a scan of the language certification and wait for verification.
How can I know if an English exam taken at another university is validated?
By contacting the CLA at [email protected] and attaching the certificate of passing the exam with the relevant number of CFU.
How can I register my English/Italian exam?
Once you receive the automatic email from ESSE3 confirming that the electronic verbalization has been completed, you must appear in person at the CLA, with your booklet.
Can I receive a level certificate to attach to the scholarship request or to the application to participate in the Erasmus Call or the Internship Abroad Call?
Upon request, the CLA issues a certificate if the student has passed a level exam at our University.
Is there the possibility of receiving individual English tutoring?
Yes, upon request of the student and subject to verification of the availability of a teacher. To request tutoring, which is free because it is included in the payment of the fee, you must contact the CLA at [email protected] in order to arrange appointments.
Are there extra-curricular English courses?
Periodically, the CLA activates extra-curricular courses and promptly communicates them to all students through the representatives of the individual Degree Courses. Those interested should write to the address [email protected] no later than September 30th for first semester courses and no later than February 28th for second semester courses.
Are there courses in foreign languages other than English?
Our University does not offer curricular courses in foreign languages other than English. However, upon request of at least five students, the CLA organizes extracurricular courses held in the University facilities, mainly on Saturdays.
I am a student with a learning disability certified and verified by the Right to Education Office. Who can I contact to arrange the foreign language exam?
You can contact the CLA at [email protected] and arrange an in-person appointment in order to establish the exam methods.
I am a non-EU student, should I contact the CLA for information on teaching the Italian language?
Yup.
