The research of the university at the top of the ranking for Orthopedics
24 February 2017 - THEUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma is placed in second place among all Italian universities for research results in the area of Biological Sciences. This is stated in the Report of the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System on the Evaluation of Research Quality between 2011 and 2014, published on 22 February.
An activity, that of the government body, which was based on the analysis of 96.000 works by over 50.000 Italian researchers, and which also placed UCBM in fourth position in the classifications relating to the areas of Chemical Sciences and Industrial and Information Engineering.
The report also shows that research UCBM it reaches the first place (out of 23) in Orthopedics and the second (out of 32) in Neurology in the single scientific-disciplinary sectors. Also good locations forI.T., The Diagnostic imaging and radiotherapy andPathological Anatomy, sectors in which the university is third, out of 53, 37 and 34 universities respectively.
But to corroborate the results in the ranking are the indicators used in the evaluation by Anvur which, both as regards the average product rating and the ratio of excellent and high products, I'm for theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma above the national average. A figure that is valid both in general at the university level and for the individual departmental faculties.
