Sustainability, for UCBM, translates concretely into people, knowledge, environment, inclusion, participation, and responsibility towards the community and the territory: principles that guide a path of growth aimed at the common good.

The numbers of a growing University

The Budget paints a picture of a dynamic and ever-evolving university community. In 2025, the University was able to count on over 4.100 students, more than 400 researchers, over 300 collaborations with companies it's about 100 ongoing funded research projects.

Alongside the results related to training and research, during the year services and initiatives dedicated to the well-being, personal development and quality of university and work experience, together with investments in innovative and sustainable infrastructure, including the new building Cu.Bo and the Simulation Center.

These actions speak to sustainability, understood not as a separate area, but as a transversal dimension of the university's approach: in its choices, processes, relationships, and ability to generate value for the community.

A Policy to Guide the Future

Alongside the reporting of results, the Sustainability Policy defines the principles, guidelines and commitments through which UCBM intends to increasingly integrate sustainability into decision-making processes, institutional activities and its development strategy.

The document therefore identifies a framework to guide future choices and strengthen an approach to sustainability consistent with the University's mission and with the paradigm One Health, according to a vision in which the health and well-being of individuals, society, and the environment are profoundly interconnected.

Sustainability as part of the identity of UCBM

The path undertaken has its roots in theChristian identity of the University and its mission: to put knowledge, expertise and work at the service of the individual and society.

From this perspective, sustainability becomes a shared responsibility and a component of the way in which UCBM It trains new generations, develops knowledge, promotes innovation, collaborates with the local community, and builds its own future.

The first Sustainability Report therefore represents not only a snapshot of 2025, but also a starting point for continuing to measure the path undertaken, valorizing the results and defining new priorities.

A journey that engages the entire university community and finds some of its guiding principles in people, knowledge, environmental stewardship, inclusion, transparency, and participation.
