The testimony of Flaminia, graduate of the VII edition of the Master
30 July 2020 - Graduating from a master's degree at the time of Covid. It happened to Flaminia and her colleagues of the VII edition of Nursing assistance and instruments in the operating room. The Master was held regularly in the classroom throughout 2019 and for the first two months of 2020, then from March the last lessons were held in live streaming on the web due to the lockdown. The discussion of the final training projects was also "aired" via the web. The Commission appreciated the double effort of the candidates who had to face an unedited thesis session.
Flaminia, what is the thing you liked most about this Master?
“There are several things that pleasantly surprised me. First of all, the dedication and professionalism with which students are followed throughout the entire training, teaching and internship process. Then the relationship with course colleagues. I was lucky enough to meet some wonderful people with whom I formed a friendship that I maintained even outside the Masters. As for the lessons, each topic was covered in detail and explained in a manner chiara so as to be preparatory to the internship and the operating room, facilitating the approach for those newly graduated colleagues who have never known this reality".
What was your internship experience like?
“The internship is well organized: each student is supported in each specialist by a fellow Clinical Tutor who follows him in the growth and learning path. The instrumentalist colleagues carry out this support and accompany us until we become independent in the operating room. In my opinion, they do it with passion and great professionalism, providing every possible help and being supportive in every situation".
The next edition of the Master will start in November and registrations will close on 9 November 2020. To meet the training needs of nurses, who have never been at the center of public attention more than in this period, the University has dedicated a reduced fee of 20% for all those who register for the selections by 23pm on October 59th. The initiative is also applicable to those who already benefit from the discounted rate, being employees or graduates of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma. It will also be possible to participate in the Master as undergraduates as long as the degree is obtained by February 24, 2021.
