Rome, 25 November 2021 - Becoming panels certified by the Ministry for Agricultural Policies (Mipaaf) as extra virgin olive oil tasters: on World Olive Day it is the unique opportunity that Università Campus Bio-Medico di RomaIn partnership with Evo School, offers students of the degree course in food science and technology and supply chain management to become experts of the precious food, the foundation of the Mediterranean diet.

An opportunity, November 26th, to remember the agreement signed between Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma e Unaprol which has among its purposes also the training of new extra virgin olive oil specialists. The agreement aims to promote contacts and exchanges between the academic world and the national olive sector, boosting research with a multidisciplinary approach to oil and table olives and promoting knowledge and growth of the entire supply chain, with respect for man and of the environment.

THEUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, on the occasion of the anniversary established in 2019 by UNESCO, thus underlines the central role of the olive tree and its products in the sustainable economic and social development of the peoples who cultivate it as well as as an element of unity and dialogue between cultures.
