It was recently held in Prague the congress of the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA), one of the main international scientific events in the field of orthopedics.
On this occasion, the knee surgery research group led by Prof. Rocco Papalia, from Dr. Edoardo Franceschetti and from Dr. Stefano Campi of the Orthopedics Area founded by Prof. Vincenzo Denaro, received two prestigious scientific awards:
- the prize for the best work of the two-year period 2024/2025 with the highest number of citations published on KSSTA (Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy), reference journal and one of those with the highest scientific impact in the orthopedic sector;
- the prize for the best work published in the two-year period 2024/2025 with the highest number of citations on JEO, second official journal of the scientific society.
Representing the Orthopedics Area, the prizes were collected by Dr. Giurazza.
The awards testify to the scientific excellence and international relevance of the research activity developed by the Orthopaedics Area of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, confirming the value of the contribution offered to the scientific community and the increasingly central role of the University in the progress of orthopedic research at an international level.
