A season above expectations
July 1, 2015 - Great season for the 5-a-side football teamUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, who participated for the first time in the Serie B Championship organized by the 5-a-side Football League. Initially starting out for pure fun and without major objectives, match after match they became aware of their potential, and the team spirit grew. Thus, at the end of the championship, they came in 2nd place in the group standings: 10 victories, only 2 defeats and 93 goals scored. This allowed the team to even participate in the play-offs for promotion to Serie A, a dream that was dashed in the round of .
Even in the Cup the journey was sent up to the quarter-finals, a phase in which - after winning the first leg 5 to 4 - the second leg was fatal, lost 7 to 3 with consequent exit from the tournament.
However, the bitterness for the two eliminations does not take away the satisfaction for the excellent season played. We will now start again at the end of September for a new year that who knows will not bring the goals we have missed this year. Trying is a must.
