Twelve scholarships for deserving students
August 6, 2019 - At the starting blocks the new edition of II level Master's Degree in "Applied Nutrition, Food Safety and Quality", with the first lesson scheduled for Thursday 6 February 2020. This master's program has numerous partnerships: from the 4 collaborating universities - Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, RomaTre, Tor Vergata and Tuscia each with their own area of competence - to the renewal of patronage by the National Order of Biologists and Enpab.
The distinctive element of the master is the partnership with sector companies that collaborate on the project by offering internships to students and providing teachers for classroom lessons. Companies vary from those involved in mass catering, agri-food, services to companies and the production of foods for special dietary purposes and supplements. The aim of the master is precisely to offer the student the possibility of concretely entering a network of professionals and businesses, which introduce him into the world of work in the case of a recent graduate or which offer opportunities for collaboration in the case of already established professionals.
For the new edition, the reduced rates for students graduates in partner universities are also confirmed. In addition, there are 2 full-coverage scholarships for deserving students assigned by one of the companies that support the Master's program and 10 partial-coverage scholarships from the National Order of Biologists (for more information go to the dedicated page).
Meanwhile, the course of the II edition of the Master concluded in May (the III is underway), with the day dedicated to the discussion of the project works. Among the graduates there was also Marianna, a young Apulian student who told us about her experience: “I especially appreciated the part relating to food safety and quality which was also very useful to me during my internship. The theoretical part and the material provided by the teachers were very important in the practical work because they allowed me to orient myself in the first learning phase".
Marianna, who attended classroom lessons in Rome, had the opportunity to carry out a 6-month internship in Puglia, a few kilometers from home. The good news is that the internship has turned into a permanent employment contract: “I will work in the Naples office and will be employed as a food quality expert. It will be a job of great responsibility but I am very happy to get involved".
