Rome, 24 March 2014 - One week from 31 March, date of the written admission test to the first year of Medicine and SurgeryUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma for the 2014-2015 Academic Year, it is tree of registrations for the test: with 2.803 requests, the increase compared to last year is equal to 16%. The growth figure for 2014, however, could rise to 40,5% if, in the next few days, it will be confirmed that the another 592 potential subscribers who submitted their application by 13.00 pm on 21 March last, are in compliance with the necessary administrative formalities. In this case, aspiring freshmen would total 3.395, the highest figure ever for the admission tests to Medicine and Surgery at the Campus Bio-Medico in Rome. In fact, the previous record was the 3.041 enrollments achieved in 2012. The increase in the number of candidates occurs despite the fact that the only admission session to this degree course takes place just over two months after the high school exam.
The places available for Medicine and Surgery for the Academic Year 2014-2015 are 120 (plus two reserved for non-EU citizens residing abroad). The written exam, also this year, will be held in the pavilions of Fiera di Roma (via Portuense, 1645/1647), with start at 10.00. For those admitted, the oral exam will be at the seat of the University (via Alvaro del Portillo, 21) the 14 15 and April.
