Prof. Bruno Vincenzi
Full professor

Bruno Vincenzi is a Medical Oncologist and Full Professor in Oncology at theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma. Prof. Vincenzi has consolidated clinical and translational research experience in the field of rare tumors and collaborates with important national and international reference centers. One of his main lines of research is focused on the genetic and molecular characterization of rare neoplasms with particular attention to the study of soft tissue sarcomas and gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST). Prof. Vincenzi coordinates several research projects aimed at identifying new factors predictive of efficacy of chemotherapy treatments and new biomarkers involved in resistance to anticancer therapies in patients suffering from rare tumors. He is also an active member of the EORTC (European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Soft Tissue and Bone Sarcoma) and of the board of directors of the ISG (Italian Sarcoma Group) and coordinates, for the Campus Bio-Medico University, several multicenter clinical trials on patients suffering from rare tumors.
