Il University Council it is completed with the entrance of the professor Nicoletta Di Simone and the reconfirmation of Dr. Sara Galluzzo and of the professor Cristina Masella, who will continue to support the University with their experience and expertise, contributing to the strengthening of governance.

Biography of Prof. Nicoletta Di Simone 

Professor Nicoletta Di Simone is Full Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Humanitas University in Milan, where she directs the School of Specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics. At Humanitas, she is responsible for the Multidisciplinary Center for Pregnancy Pathology (Humanitas San Pio X Milan) and the Multidisciplinary Center for Menopause (Humanitas Rozzano Clinical Institute). Professor Di Simone is an international researcher in the fields of infertility, recurrent miscarriage, premature birth, endometriosis, autoimmune diseases, menopause and adolescence. Her studies on antibodies and antiphospholipids and on the intestinal microbiota have opened new paths in the treatment of pregnancy-related pathologies. 

Professor Di Simone has over 35 years of clinical experience gained at the Policlinico Gemelli and Humanitas. 

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, she specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics and obtained a PhD at La Sapienza University in Rome, perfecting her training at Harvard Medical School in Boston. 

During her career, she has held important roles at the Policlinico Gemelli in Rome, where she was Associate Professor and directed operational units dedicated to women's and children's health. In 2011, she was awarded the title of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic for her numerous scientific contributions.
