L'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma has arranged for the postponement of the test at the Rome Fair scheduled for Tuesday 22 March to Wednesday 10 April.
Rome, 05 March 2020 - TheUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, by virtue of the principle of maximum precaution on the Coronavirus phenomenon, in coherence with its mission of attention to the human person and in compliance with the appeals for prudence promoted by the Institutions, has ordered the postponement of the admission test to the degree course in Medicine and Surgery expected at the Fiera di Roma for Tuesday 10 March.
Almost 500 candidates from all over Italy and abroad have registered for the test.
The decision taken by the University is the result of the desire to protect the good of people's health, to support the measures adopted by the Government aimed at minimizing the opportunities for contagion.
Furthermore, with this decision, the University expresses its sensitivity towards all the candidates and families involved in the procedure, also taking into account the origins of aspiring doctors from areas where particular travel restrictions are in place.
L'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma has always pursued how mission the centrality of the person and the common good and it is precisely in compliance with these principles that, despite the considerable organizational and economic inconvenience for the University, it has ordered the postponement of the test to Wednesday 22 April next.
