Monday June 23, 2025, At the Hall of the Protomoteca of the Capitoline Museums in Rome, Will host the Third edition of the Navarro-Valls International Award for Leadership and Benevolence, promoted by Biomedical University Foundation.

The Award, inspired by the figure of Joaquin Navarro-Valls, journalist, doctor and spokesperson for San Giovanni Paul II celebrates two personalities every year – one Senior has always been Junior – who have distinguished themselves for their commitment to the common good, combining professional excellence, ethical vision and a spirit of service.

After having paid homage to Navarro-Valls as "man-friend" in the first edition and "man-communicator" in the second, the theme of 2025 is "Navarro-Valls man of hope", in keeping with the Jubilee Year.

The event will be hosted by Safiria Leccese and will see the interventions of:

  • His Eminence Card. Giovanni Baptist King, Dean of the College of Cardinals
  • Father Paolo Benanti, President of the AI ​​Commission for Information
  • Chiara Perth, CEO of Sitael and Angel Holding

The Award also helps to support the Navarro-Valls Scholarship Fund dell 'Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, intended for deserving students with fewer economic possibilities, with the aim of promoting the right to study, social inclusion and the training of a new generation of ethical and responsible leaders.

The selection of candidates is entrusted to the Scientific Committee chaired by Frederick Eichberg, while the jury that selects the winners is composed of, among others, Alessandro Pernigo, Ferruccio De Bortoli, Bianca Maria Farina e Gianni Letta. In previous editions, the Prize was awarded to highly prominent personalities such as BRUNELLO CUCINELLI, Lina Tombolato Doris e Nicolò Govoni.
