Summer is the best time to imagine your future and upon returning from holidays, before returning to school, you can make an important choice: enroll in the Summer School of Medicine atUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, The first in Italy, to his second edition starting from 4 to 8 September 2023. Registration for the Summer School is open until places are filled. Until Friday 4 August it will be possible to send your application to access one of the 3 scholarships provided by UCBM which will be assigned according to criteria of income and merit.
After the success of first edition of June, UCBM organizes again a unique proposal in the panorama of university summer schools to help young people to discover their professional passion e consciously make the choice of their university path. An initiative also designed to counter the phenomenon of dropping out of studies, on the rise in the 2021-2022 academic year with a +7,3% of enrolled students who dropped out of university classrooms within the first year (Censis, 2023), as well as make a contribution to the need to prepare tomorrow's doctors who will support the proper functioning of the National Health System from now to the next few years.
Thanks to a set of frontal teaching, experiential and laboratory activities, simulations of admission tests and orientation sessions, 100 students enrolled in the 2022/23 school year in the third and fourth year of high school will be able, in a single week, to delve deeper into some scientific areas through immersive activities; take university classes; discover the world of scientific research by experiencing the laboratories ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma; learn about the life of students on the university campus; understand through tests the areas for improvement in their preparation.
For participants in the Summer School of Medicine it will be possible simulate the admission test valid for enrollment in the three Master's Degree Courses UCBM in "Medicine and Surgery","Medicine and Surgery" is "Medicine and Surgery 'MedTech'" and get in touch with ei methodologies Cordua Srl training courses, national leader in the preparation for Medicine entrance tests. Those enrolled in the Summer School will be entitled to one 15% discount on membership to all the courses offered by Cordua Srl.
>> For the 2024/25 academic year there will be two admission testsUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma scheduled for January and March 2024. They will be open to students in the penultimate and last year of high school, with the possibility for everyone to take the test twice.
In this regard, for th grade students, school year 2023/24, Cordua organizes the Sirius course - Delta method starting in October 2023. In addition to this course, Cordua will complement a 2-week course, with full immersion methodology and totally free, which will prepare students enrolled in the Summer School for the admission tests for courses in Medicine organized by UCBMplanned for the months of January and March 2024.
In addition, Cordua organizes for fourth grade students, school year 2023-24, the Athena course starting in October 2023 which will continue in the following months up to the admission tests scheduled for the spring of 2025.
All members will be offered personalized advice and orientation support, as well as the assistance of internal tutors chosen and selected by UCBM. During the week they will also be disbursed Economics and Law lessons with the professors of the'University Luiss in order to orientate on the training offer of the latter.
Young people will spend their days interacting with teachers and researchers from theUniversity and Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital Foundation located in the immediate vicinity of the university halls. All in the pristine environment of the Decima Malafede Nature Reserve, where greenery naturally gives harmony and well-being. And in the evening, for members with a residential formula, space for moments of aggregation and relaxation organized by the University.
