Curriculum Vitae

Chiara Fanali He has been a full professor of Analytical Chemistry (SSD CHIM/01) since September 2020 at the Departmental Faculty of Sciences and Technologies for Sustainable Development and One Health of theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma. She graduated cum summa laude in Chemistry in 2004, Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, La Sapienza University of Rome. From 2005 to 2008 you took part in the PhD Course in Biochemical Studies of the Proteome at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, receiving the PhD title in February 2008 with a thesis entitled "The maturation of human salivary peptides in the secretory pathway". For these studies you have received scholarships financed by the University itself. From 2008 to January 2010 you worked in research activities (fellowships) in the same University participating in research projects funded by various public and private organizations. Since February 2010 she has been carrying out her research activity at theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma participating in different research projects as coordinator or member of research units. His research interests in recent years have concerned the application of modern and innovative analytical techniques for the analysis of bioactive metabolites in foods and of peptides and proteins of clinical interest. The most used analytical techniques are: high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and nano liquid chromatography (nano-LC) coupled with UV/Visible spectrophotometry and low and high resolution mass spectrometry. He currently teaches Analytical Chemistry (SSD CHIM/01) in various courses for students of the three-year and master's courses in Food Science and Human Nutrition and the master's course in Food Science and Technology and Supply Chain Management,Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma.

He is the President of the Degree Course in Food Sciences and Human Nutrition and a member of the Research Quality Assurance Group of the Departmental Faculty of Sciences and Technologies for Sustainable Development and One Health, Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma from the academic year 2019-2020. He is the Coordinator of the Doctoral Course in "Sustainable development: environment, food and health", Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma from the academic year 2022-2023. He is the Coordinator of Research and Third Mission of the Departmental Faculty of Sciences and Technologies for Sustainable Development and One Health, Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma from a.y. 2022-2023.

Chiara Fanali he is co-author of publications in international journals (ISI indexed) and book chapters. He is co-author of a patent “Molecular markers for autism” pct/ib2009/052418.
