La Biomedical University Foundation, on the occasion of the International Award for Leadership and Benevolence "Joaquin Navarro Valls", III edition, has established the Scholarship Fund of the same name for theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma (UCBM), named after the physician and President of the Advisory Board UCBM, Joaquín Navarro Valls. This fund aims to contribute to the development of deserving and less well-off new talents.
In this context, the following two scholarships are foreseen:
Reale Foundation
Reale Foundation finances n. 1 (one) "Joaquìn Navarro Valls" Scholarship, to impact the personal and professional training of a student of the Nursing Degree Course, enrolled in the 2026/2027 academic year.
The student awarded the aforementioned scholarship will benefit from full coverage of the single university contribution for the entire legal duration of studies, equal to three years. The annual benefit will be awarded as an exemption/reimbursement from the payment of the corresponding sum, drawn from the single university contribution amounts established in the Tax and Contribution Regulationsi. The scholarship cannot be combined with similar benefits from other public or private institutions, without prejudice to the option of interested students.
The beneficiary will be selected based on the ranking for admission to the Degree Program in Nursing - Early Session for the 2026/2027 academic year, among candidates eligible for the scholarship and not already awarded scholarships as per the Call for Applications. To receive the benefit, the candidate selected in the ranking must submit a cover letter to the donor and the Biomedical University Foundation, who will then confirm the award.
In honor of Helen Dillon
Mrs. Jeanne Dillon finances n. 1 (one) scholarship in memory of the sister Helen Dillon, to impact the personal and professional development of a student in the Nursing Degree Course, enrolled in the 2026/2027 academic year.
The student awarded the aforementioned scholarship will benefit from full coverage of the single university contribution for the entire legal duration of studies, equal to three years. The annual benefit will be awarded as an exemption/reimbursement from the payment of the corresponding sum, drawn from the single university contribution amounts established in the Tax and Contribution Regulationsi. The scholarship cannot be combined with similar benefits from other public or private institutions, without prejudice to the option of interested students.
