Prof Michela Piredda and Dr. Anna Marchetti guest at the Universidad de Los Andes
July 11, 2019 - Reflect on models of nursing care in the light of Christian values. This is the objective of the international meetings between teachers of the degree courses in Nursing of the corporate universities of Opus Dei in the world. From 3 to 5 July last the teachers Michela Piredda e Anna Marchetti, of the Ucbm Nursing Research Unit, were guests of the Universidad de Los Andes in Santiago, Chile for the second of these meetings focused on sharing care practices in the field of palliative care.
Present at the meeting were the presidents of the degree courses and professors of the Universidad de Navarra (Spain), Universidad de La Sabana (Colombia), Universidad Austral (Argentina), Universidad Panamericana of Mexico, as well as the Universidad de Los Andes and Campus Bio- Physician of Rome. "It was an important opportunity to exchange experiences - comment the teachers - which allowed for the creation of synergies and strengthening the links between the Universities that experience the challenges of nursing education on a daily basis".
During the meeting, the Master in "Palliative care and pain therapy", promoted by UCBM and Tor Vergata University in collaboration with Antea Onlus, and presented the lines of research conducted in this sector. It will be exactly theUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma to host the third international meeting in September 2021.
