Campus day

Starting at 15 on May 12, Centro Sport City will host Campus Day, an initiative inserted for the first time within the Sport and Culture Week. There are many sports activities in which you can participate, from five-a-side football to table tennis, from table football to beach volleyball. Rugby and sailing demonstrations are also scheduled. You can sign up by Monday 11 May at 13.00, compiling and returning the form at the reception desks of the PRABB (all day) and of the University Hospital (only in the afternoon). Personnel wishing to participate in sports activities can apply for a permit, after having been authorized by their manager, without the need for recovery.

At 16 pm the ceremony will take place to lay the first stone of the nature trail planned within the Decima Malafede Nature Reserve, in which our university campus is immersed. At 16.30 the running race will then begin Campus Race Memorial Andrea D'Ambrosio" (4k), named after the cardiologist of the University Hospital who died last summer.

A rich schedule of sporting, musical and entertainment events. Among the novelties the Campus Day, the theatrical musical and the feast of Blessed Álvaro del Portillo.

3 May 2015 - The fourth edition of the Sport and Culture Week, scheduled at the Campus Bio-Medico University, will be full of novelties from 9 to 14 May (Download the Program).

In addition to the schedule of sporting and musical events, which have attracted great participation in previous editions, this year we add an important appointment for the entire University. On May 12, in fact, we will celebrate together for the first time the Blessed Alvaro del Portillo, inspirer of our University. The liturgical feast, announced by Cardinal Angelo Amato, precisely during the Beatification Mass last September 27 in Madrid, falls on the day when, in 1921, Blessed Álvaro received his First Communion. In his honour Tuesday, May 12th, at 13.15 pm, Don Luis Clavell, former Rector of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, will celebrate a S. Mass in the Chapel of the University Hospital. Lessons will be suspended as early as 13.

Campus' Got Talent

May 12, the key day of the week, will end with the Campus' Got Talent, the artistic event dedicated to the student Saverio Tombolini. From 21 the stage set up in the internal courtyard of the PRABB will see students and staff perform individually or in small groups in musical and entertainment performances. There are two categories in the competition for which the jury will decide the winner: Singing & Music and Acting & Entertainment.

In addition to the jury prize, like last year, the Saverio Tombolini Prize will also be awarded to the exhibition most voted by the public via the University's Facebook page. A was also created Facebook Group dedicated to the event, to receive information and then comment in real time on all the performances. There is time to sign up until May 3 (Download the Regulations). The registration form must be sent to the e-mail address [email protected]

Other sporting events

Other sporting moments scheduled for the Week are the Golf competition, scheduled for Sunday 10 May, and the finals of the 5th edition of the “Giulio Marinozzi” Futsal Tournament, which will take place in the Sport City stands on Monday 11 May, at 19 pm (for third and fourth place) and at 20 pm (for first and second place).

We are all invited to the PRABB courtyard Wednesday May 13, at 21, to attend a "Come on People", the famous musical that debuted in Viterbo in 1981, centered on the life of St. Francis of Assisi. Musical accompaniment by Stylnovo.
