Graduated in Nursing, he becomes conductor for Rai 5

Andrea Angelucci, graduated in Nursing UCBM and eclectic archaeologist, he has been leading since 11/ Art Rider, the new TV series on art and travel broadcast in prime time on Rai 5.

Here he collected his story: from archaeologist to nurse, to becoming a qualified tourist guide. Over the years you have organized guided tours and many tours for students ofUniversità Campus Bio-Medico di Roma and their families.

"I visited the Campus for the first time thanks to a physiotherapist friend who proudly wanted to show me where he worked: it really seemed like an "American film" style place for someone like me used to the classic universities of Rome. I had already graduated in archeology but was trying, for various needs, to reinvent myself and I was thinking about a new degree. And that's why I enrolled in Nursing Sciences and began the adventure at the Campus Bio-Medico. I never abandoned my "ancient" and original vocation as an archaeologist, so much so that I organized a couple of visits for students to two important churches in Rome, Santa Croce in Gerusalemme and San Clemente. One day I went to Don Luca with an idea that seemed crazy: to organize a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, a utopia which became reality and which from that moment on has been repeated every year by the Campus. With great effort and sacrifice, I graduated and became a nurse, and I began to look for a job when an unexpected phone call arrived: a fellow archaeologist warned me that he had been banned one of the last competitions to become a tour guide. Not having a permanent job yet, I decided to try that road too, and I managed to obtain that qualification so coveted by archaeologists. Fresh from his official licensed driving license, he began organizing guided tours for Campus students and their families thanks to the efforts of the Weekend Sharing guys and that of our Mariagrazia Maruca who recently left us. Over the years we have done many tours in Rome and outside the city in splendid contexts between the sacred, art and nature such as Subiaco and Ferentillo".
