The story of Claudio Proscia, graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2011 and has been in Liverpool for 5 years

During his fourth year of residency, encouraged by the Department of Cardiology UCBM, leaves for a fellowship at a Liverpool center of excellence dedicated to interventional surgery and cardiac surgery.

“My experience was supposed to last a year. I have lived in Liverpool for five years now. The first year I achieved levels of autonomy in the hemodynamic room unthinkable for my peers and excellent skills in the management of cardiovascular emergencies. After two years of fellowship, they offered me a position as a consultant [a sort of head of a complex unit in Italy], about five years ahead of the English national average. You will discover that the training obtained on the Campus has made you excellent doctors and people of great humanity. This will give you confidence and security and ensure that you will be appreciated across the border."
